lyrics
I wrote this one for you. Just so you would know how much those days meant to me. After all it was like a second home whenever I felt alone.
In my eyes I had every right to be angry. Compromised, torn apart and culture shocked. Crying out, please don't give up. Crying out please don't let me down.
I understand that sometimes things just happen. And sometimes we can't change them . But It's all about how we make it. And I know now, that eventually some how I'll learn the right ways to face this.
When I drive down that street I dwell on those memories hoping and praying that someday we'll gather again.
I learned my life inside those walls, am I the only one that feels this way? I feel so alone but I know I need to let it go.
Everyday is a new beginning. So why am I still focused on the past? Everything is going my way, except for this one thing.
The child in me still lives and breathes on 1914 Main Street.
And if you decide to come back. I'll be waiting here for you.
